Basic activities of Regional Centre „Zlatibor“ were:

  • Providing business information and advices to potential and existing Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Entrepreneurs;
  • Educating potential and existing SME-s and Entrepreneurs;
  • Consulting services for potential and existing SME-s and Entrepreneurs;
  • Partner relationship with local authorities/municipalities;
  • Cooperation with the financial organizations, donors;
  • Promotions, trainings, business marketplaces, consulting.

The establishment of Regional Development Agency “Zlatibor” was based on identified needs of municipalities from Zlatibor region, trough transformation of Regional Centre for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Entrepreneurs “Zlatibor”.

Strategic Objectives

RDA “Zlatibor” strategic objectives:

  • To enhance ZRDA relations with development partners at the regional, national and international levels
  • To enable the design, update and implementation of an integrated Regional Development Strategy
  • To develop systematically a rational approach to providing funds for the implementation of development projects and the delivery of development priorities from local, national and international sources
  • To develop infrastructural development projects within the sectors such as environment protection, social and economic infrastructures, in accordance with SLAP methodology
  • To develop projects according to the defined priorities of the Regional Development Strategy
  • To enhance capacities of founders and other stakeholders for active participation in the strategic approach to regional as well as local development, and in accordance with national development plans, sector policies and EU principles
  • To develop potential and existing Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Entrepreneurs in Region.

The Zlatibor Regional Development Agency is a knowledge-based organization and a catalyst for the socio-economic development of Zlatibor Region.

The mission of Zlatibor Agency is to foster the sustainable socio-economic growth and stability of Zlatibor Region through creating healthy communities, prosperous businesses and job opportunities by means of strategic planning, promoting adequate business environment, territory marketing and implementation of community development initiatives.
